This guy transformed a decrepit 1948 GMC truck into a modern beauty.
Well, when we say ‘modern’ we mean you could use it every day in the modern world, which this guy apparently does.
It took him a lot of time and effort, but it was worth it, and the end result is spectacular.
It is probably even better than he expected when he decided to embark on this ‘mission’.

From broken to brilliant
When the guy from the Carter Auto Restyling YouTube channel found this old truck, it looked exactly like a 70+ year old vehicle that hadn’t been used in decades.
He decided to restore it, and it’s safe to say he did an excellent job.
After getting rid of rust, replacing the broken panels and windows, overhauling the interior and fixing the doors and the engine, the truck looks as good as new.
He even managed to keep the same color, and he gave it some cool red wheels as the icing on the cake.
The history of GMC trucks
GMC has been making trucks for a very long time, and the company makes all kinds of trucks.
From military trucks to work trucks with unusual designs, the American automaker has done just about everything and anything you can think of in the industry.
Over the last few years, GMC has also been expanding its line-up of electric trucks.
The GMC Sierra, for example, is now available as an electric vehicle as well.
Lest we forget, even the modern-day Hummer, the gigantic Hummer EV that can ‘crab-walk’, is currently being marketed and sold under the GMC umbrella, and with the GMC brand proudly displayed on its bumper.
