This YouTuber transformed a 1952 Dodge B3 truck into a ‘flame-throwing Grinch mobile’.

Yes, you read that correctly.

No, you’re not mistaken – it’s that Grinch we’re talking about here.

If you thought you’d never see Dr Seuss and cars come together, today is your day to be proven wrong.

How come this truck was getting a Grinch makeover?

We’ve covered our fair share of unusual car makeovers here at Supercar Blondie.

You might recall the guy who transformed Elvis Presley’s private jet into a RV.

If you throw your mind back far enough, you will remember this Mustang with a 2,000hp V8 sticking out the front.

But a Grinch shooting flames out of its mouth is a whole other level of creativity.

So, how did this car come into being?

Let’s start from the beginning.

Lance, host of Turnin’ Rust, found the B3 truck in relatively good shape after it’d spent 20 years hidden away.

Fortunately, the truck had little to no rust so held a lot of potential for renovation.

It was then decided that Lance and his father would turn it into a Grinch Mobile for an upcoming Christmas parade.

For extra fun, they wanted to attach a flamethrower exhaust system to the front.

Christmas may conjure up images of sitting by a warm fireplace, but we’re not sure a flamethrower is linked to the holiday season quite as tightly.

How did the project come together in the end?

There were a few bumps in the road along the way, such as a dodgy fuel pump and some issues with the clutch and brakes.

But in the end, it all turns out great – despite a break down in the parade itself.

So, what exactly is different about this truck to make it a tribute to the mean green Christmas-hating machine?

First up was a green color scheme, which worked on two levels.

It obviously matched the Grinch himself, but it’s also a traditional Christmas color.

Christmas lights were also added to the vehicle and presents were attached to the roof.

If the Grinch himself had this ride, stealing Christmas from Whoville would have been a dream.
