Luxury automaker Infiniti has made a comeback with the all-new 2025 QX80 luxury SUV.

This new car features a new design language that we might also see in future models.

Infiniti’s previous generation of SUVs divided opinion, but after this latest launch, the signs are definitely positive.

The new QX80 looks remarkably similar to a concept that Infiniti released last year.

The interior wasn’t shown in that concept, but the exterior was undoubtedly an inspiration for the QX80.

What about the interior, then?

Spoiler alert: it’s stunning. But more on that later.

On the front, the QX80 puts on the signature Infiniti double-arch grille with the illuminated Infiniti emblem.

Overall, the exterior – as planned by Infiniti’s Japanese design studio – blends modern and futuristic design.

While there are outrageous luxury SUVs like the Karlmann King that make a statement, this one is subtle and intimidating.

This luxury SUV may use the Nissan Patrol as its platform, but it houses a brand-new engine, suspension, and interior.

The QX80 features a 3.5-liter V-6 twin-turbo engine, producing a massive 450 hp.

That’s a 50-hp increase from the previous generation model right there.

Quite promising so far.

Infiniti has claimed that they built the body frame better this time, so there should be less body roll and vibrations on rough roads.

Take a seat in the 2025 QX80, and you will be greeted with a stunning interior as if you were in a leather-clad cockpit fully kitted with the latest tech.

The top Autograph trim also comes with aniline quilted seats with a wood and aluminum layout.

The infotainment system makes a statement with large dual displays that span across half the dashboard.

There’s also another smaller screen in the middle of the center consoles for your HVAC and seat heating controls.

Infiniti’s choice of exquisite materials throughout the cabin and all the way back to the third row gives the interior a premium and luxurious feel.

If you’re in a luxury SUV like this, you definitely want to be in the back seat to have the best experience.

All these fancy upgrades come with a slightly increased price to the last offering, but that extra spend is made up for with the added luxury, surely?

There’s no doubt that an SUV is basically everyone’s first preference, blending both practicality and luxury.

SUVs are here to stay, be they luxury SUVs or futuristic hydrogen-powered SUVs.
