Mansory has created an unreal tuning package for the Maserati MC20 – dubbed the MCX Pergusa – with new carbon bodywork and an upgrade to its powertrain.

There’s no denying that the MC20 is a next-level car, combining sleek aesthetics with plenty of power under the hood.

But for those who believe that everything can be improved, this might be the car for you.

Mansory is creating just five of the MCX Pergusa

The high-end tuning company is certainly no stranger to crafting head-turning cars, such as the stunning two-door Lamborghini Urus or the Rolls-Royce Cullinan that was turned into a purple luxury wagon

But even by its usual standards, this MC20 is quite special – and to keep things extra exclusive the company is producing just five of the souped-up motors.

The car’s bodywork has been given a carbon-crafted update via a new hood scoop and gently tweaked aerodynamics.

Its nose has been given a redesign to include larger intakes and a new front lip.

The tires have also been swapped out – with the back now measuring a 22-inches (55cm) and the front 21-inches (53cm).

As you’d expect, the interior of the MCX Pergusa can be designed and customized ‘freely’ by the customer.

But as a bit of a taster, the company shared some images of how it could look alongside a press release.

In the images, the car can been seen decked out in an eye-catching orange and black leather and signature logos and branding.

The car’s engine has also been given an upgrade

Its engine was also given a boost. The 3.0l V6 biturbo mid-engine now produces 750 horsepower and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) of torque on the crankshaft instead of the standard 630 hp and 730 Nm.

The company says this beefed-up engine means it can hit 1 to 100km/h (62mp/h) in just 2.6 seconds – a 0.3-second increase on the standard MC20 – and that it has a top speed of 335 km/h (208mp/h), which is around 10km/h (6mp/h) faster than stock.

“Next to Ferrari, Maserati is without a doubt one of the biggest names in automotive history,” said Kourosh Mansory, CEO and founder.

“With the MC20, Maserati has brought an excellent basic vehicle onto the market that almost imposes itself on the needs and wishes of our customers and at the same time offers many conversion options, so that after our debut First Edition, the corresponding spider Cielo version.

“Now logically another derivative of the MC20 is being launched with the Mansory MCX Pergusa with its full carbon body.”

Price is available on request, but we’re going to go out on a limb and say it’s not going to come cheap.
