There’s a pretty cool set of renderings doing the rounds of a race version of the Ferrari Roma. As you can see, it looks like an absolute beast.

Called the Roma XX, the supercar features an aggressive aerodynamic package, a lowered suspension, and other tweaks here and there.

The Roma here comes in a very unusual blue colour, not usually Ferrari’s style – but it looks badass.

The front end of the car has a completely redesigned fascia with a wide and aggressive bumper diffuser.

In the centre of the Roma, there’s no longer a body-coloured grille and the headlights now have new yellow LED elements – which are rather funky looking.

At the rear of the Ferrari, the changes are even more notable.

As with the front, there’s a completely redesigned lower section of the fascia featuring two central exhaust pipes. There’s also a giant fixed-wing and darkened taillights.

The diffuser has two big slats and large air openings.

This Roma has a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with an output of 612 horsepower.

This is probably enough power for a race version of the car, especially if it is combined with a significantly reduced weight.

What is the Ferrari XX Programme?

The Ferrari XX Programme was launched back in 2005.

It’s a series of exclusive events for a small number of special and very wealthy Ferrari customers.

It enables them to drive specially prepared machines on tracks such as Barcelona, Mugello, Spa-Francorchamps, and Paul Ricard.

It’s a pretty sweet gig if you can get it don’t you think?

The 2022 season of this program includes more than 20 different events around the world which quite frankly just makes our mouths water.
