The Apple rumor mill is hard at work, and it seems new details about the iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 are here.
While the iPhone 16 is set to launch this year, if rumors are to be believed, you might want to skip it.
Because if the leaks about the upcoming iPhone 17 are true: we are looking at a winner.
Apple is known to keep the most advanced features limited to the Pro lineup, leaving the standard models behind.
The base iPhone 15 didn’t have access to ProMotion and the always-on display.
It was also limited to a 60hz display, and the same will be true for the base iPhone 16.
The ProMotion and 120hz in combination allow for super smooth scrolling and animations.
It’s hard to go back after using a Pro model as 60hz looks slow in comparison.
However, according to the leaks, always-on and ProMotion will finally hit the ‘standard’ model of the iPhone 17 lineup.
And that’s not all, as Apple is also planning to use an upgraded 48-megapixel Telephoto lens for the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
It would be the first iPhone to have a rear camera system composed entirely of 48-megapixel lenses.
So you might want to skip the iPhone 16 and go directly for 17.
Although, the iPhone 16 will also have some nice camera upgrades, only time will tell what’s in store for this year’s lineup.
The iPhone 17 is rumored to feature an under-panel Face ID technology.
Fortunately, this year’s lineup will also have a significant size upgrade compared to the 15 lineup.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be going from 6.12 and 6.69-inch to 6.27 and 6.86-inch displays, respectively.
It will be a tough decision regardless, so take your time and think about what you want.
