Jay Leno is a true car enthusiast with an impressive car collection.
With so many luxury cars in his garage, it seems quite hard to hit an impressive number on the odometer of a single car.
However, Jay Leno has driven his 1987 Lamborghini Countach for more than 70,000 miles over four decades.

Jay Leno hit 70,000 miles on his Lamborghini Countach
It’s as if his affection for his Lamborghini Countach surpasses that for his other cars, and it’s not hard to see why.
He has driven the car since it was new for decades, gradually building up a deep affection and love for it.
Leno’s love for his Lamborghini reminds us of a Los Angeles man who drove his Porsche 356 for 1 million miles, over 50 years.
This car is the 25th Anniversary edition, launched in 1988 to celebrate the big moment for the car company.
Only 658 units were ever built, making the Lamborghini Countach even more special for Leno to own.
A car with a rich history
The design of this luxury car was not ordinary either – it had a rich history attached to it.
Horacio Pagani, the famous founder of Pagani automobiles gave a considerable amount of restyling to the car, although the key designer was Marcello Gandini.
This car is not just appealing to the eyes but also delivers an ultimate adrenaline rush to the driver.
With the powerful 5.2-liter V-12 engine that delivers 455 horsepower, this car can reach a top speed of 183mph.
The first prototype was unveiled at the 1971 Geneva Auto Show, leading to the start of production in 1974.
Countach remained in production until 1990 when it was succeeded by Lamborghini Diablo.
Leno’s love for cars also goes beyond luxury, as one of his favorite vehicles is the humble Tata Nano, which he acquired for just $2,700.
Riding the luxury Lamborghini Countach with a rich history is surely a proud moment for Leno.
