John Travolta doesn’t bother with a car collection, he has a jet collection

Iconic Hollywood star John Travolta has a passion for jets.

While some celebrities boast about their lavish car collection, John Travolta stands out with his collection of jets.

But this love for aviation did not come after his success, it was far earlier than that.

At the age of 15, Travolta started getting his flying lessons, and by the age of 22, he got his first pilot certification.

And today, he holds licenses for eight different types of jets.

This is as impressive as his collection of private jets.

John Travolta’s lavish jet collection

Among them is a Dassault Falcon 900, a luxurious business jet that seats 12-14 passengers. It’s an iconic and timeless piece from Dassault Aviation that first flew in 1984.

Another notable aircraft in his fleet is a Boeing 707-138.

Just like car collectors who love pieces of historic value, the Boeing 707-138 in John’s collection is a treasured part of his collection.

Despite being built in 1964, this jet still looks like something from modern times.

Interestingly, this jet is currently being restored to join a museum in Australia.

One of Travolta’s more recent acquisitions is a Boeing 737-300, which he transformed into a VIP jet after its history with several airlines.

This plane’s not just the pride of John’s collection, but a pride of the Boeing family as well.

From maneuvers like fast rotation and vertical climb to its conversion into a private villa, Boeing 737 models have great memories to share.

Finally the Eclipse 500 – the smallest and newest in his collection, is known for its compact size and efficiency.

John’s love for planes goes even further

John Travolta’s recent collection is not enough to express his love for the private jets.

His past acquisitions included iconic planes like a Lockheed Constellation, a Boeing 707-138B, and a DC-3 Dakota.

Even more interestingly, he lives in a lavish mansion with a personal airport giving him access to his jet collection anytime he wants.

With so many iconic planes, his collection could even rival Jeff Bezos’ extravagant jet hangar.
