An LA man who built his own Tesla CyberRoadster has revealed the one feature that attracts a lot of attention – and it might not be what you think.
YouTuber and car enthusiast David Andreyev – AKA Cyber Hooligan – spent years building his own CyberRoadster.
The one-off vehicle is a mash-up between a Tesla Cybertruck and a Tesla Model 3.
As you might imagine, the CyberRoadster grabs plenty of attention when it’s out and about, but its creator says there’s one unexpected element that really gets people to stop and stare.

The one-off CyberRoadster looks incredible
When a car lover is gifted with a creative mind and top-notch technical skills something beautiful can happen – just take a look at this DIY mini Cybertruck that was made from bits of old rubbish, and this hand-made Jaguar XJ220 supercar.
Or this one-off CyberRoadster that’s quite unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

The man behind the car is LA-based David Andreyev who shares his creations on his Cyber Hooligan YouTube channel.
The car began as two vehicles: a Cybertruck and a Model 3.
David stripped down the Cybertruck and placed the parts onto the chassis of the Model 3 to create this unique ‘CyberRoadster’.
The EV is powered by the Model 3’s original motor but most of the car is formed from the Cybertruck, albeit redesigned to give it a more roadster-look.
The unique EV gets plenty of attention while on the road
As you might imagine, when David is out and about on the streets of LA his CyberRoadster attracts plenty of attention.
However, he revealed that it’s actually the car’s eye-catching metallic red paint work that many folks comment on.
“It’s Candy Apple Red, it’s 12 layers of paint,” he explained in a clip uploaded to YouTube.

“Any angle – you step one foot – and the car kind of looks different. It will look super-bright from this angle, [but] from this angle, it will look super-dark.
“It’s insane. If a person puts their eyes on this car, they’re not going to look away until it drives away. It’s the funniest thing.”
He went on to say that people will stop, stare, and even get out of their cars to take a better look.
And we can see why – it really is a stunning-looking vehicle.
