Even with a massive net worth of $109+ billion, Mark Zuckerberg is famously very frugal.
He wears simple clothes and, as it turns out, drives simple cars – with one major exception.
4. Acura TSX – $30,000
When asked why did he chose to drive an Acura TSX, Facebook CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg said because it is "safe, comfortable and not ostentatious." Why do you drive an Acura? #Acura #TSX #Facebook #MarkZuckerberg pic.twitter.com/BBM3k1SmBh

Mark Zuckerberg has owned an Acura TSX for years.
When he bought it, the car had an MSRP of around $30,000.
With our math hat on, we could tell you that’s equivalent to roughly 0.00003 percent of his net worth.
And yet, Zuck’s reasoning behind his choice was pretty logical.
“It is safe, comfortable and not ostentatious,” he once told an interviewer.
Well, he’s not wrong.
3. Honda Fit – $17,900
The Honda Fit has a sticker price a hair above $17,900, which is peanuts to Mark Zuckerberg.
And yet, just like the Acura, the Meta CEO drives the Fit because it is totally unassuming, not to mention reliable.
Zuckerberg is hardly ever photographed or filmed in public, but there’s one picture of him entering the car that went viral precisely because people were expecting to see him in a Ferrari or a Lambo.
When the picture was taken a few years ago, his net worth was ‘only’ $30 billion.
Over $70b later, he hasn’t changed.
2. Volkswagen Golf GTI – $30,000
Mark Zuckerberg also owns a Volkswagen Golf GTI Mark 6.
He bought the car new a few years ago and it cost him around $30,000.
Even though it costs around the same as the Acura, this is arguably a lot more fun.
The GTI is a range-topping, fun version of the Golf, with a 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) time of 6.9 seconds, which is not bad at all.
1. Pagani Huayra
Every car Mark Zuckerberg has ever owned was humble and inexpensive but there’s one glaring exception.
In 2014, Zuck purchased a Pagani Huayra when it first arrived in North America.
Back when it was new, a Pagani Huayra cost around $2 million, not including options.
Fast-forward to 2023 and the Huayra has appreciated in value.
These days, you’d be hard-pressed to find a Huayra for less than $4 million.
