A mystery millionaire has dropped a whopping seven figures on an incredible sailing yacht.
It’s not just any yacht though, in fact it it’s one of the most unique classic sailing yachts ever built in China.
But just what makes it so indescribably unique?
Let us guide you through exactly that.

Yachts are the top of every millionaire’s to-buy list.
From Max Verstappen snapping up this $13 million superyacht after waiting for two years to the co-founder of Google reportedly taking delivery of the largest superyacht in America, they’re in high demand.
They can also be snapped up for a cheap sum and overhauled like this couple who bought an abandoned superyacht and this free marketplace find.
However, when you’re mega rich, you don’t need to sweat the small stuff, instead you can just purchase brand new water machines straight off the bat.
Which is exactly what this mystery millionaire did.
They purchased this unique schooner for a mighty $1million.
Not only that, it’s also one of the most unique that there has ever been.
The ship – called ‘So Fong’ which translates into ‘Beautiful Girl’ – really will take your breath away.
It was manufactured in the 1930s – so it’s knocking on almost 100-years-old, but is still as elegant as ever.
According to the Flensburger Yacht-Service the the yacht was ‘built to a very high standard in Hong Kong, [the] ‘So Fong’ is the most beautiful Schooner drawn by Olin Stephens in 1937.”
And it’s now under offer for an eye-watering $1.2 million to sail into the sunset.

What features does it have that makes it a dream purchase for a millionaire?
The pricey boat has features including a galley, space for 12 guests, beautiful carved interiors, and even a fancy bathtub, so you can soak in water, on water.
It’s been kept in pristine condition by it’s previous owners, too, so you really could just set sail all over the globe from the Atlantic to The Mediterranean.
It’s a 70-foot schooner made with racing in mind as well as sailing.
The yacht boasts a rich history
It was originally designed by Olin Stephens from Sparkman & Stephens of New York and then built in China by Ah King Slipway.
It also helped the US Coast Guard in WWII.
The most shocking piece of it’s history though?
It was even captured in Vietnam in the 1980s!
Mind boggling when you think about it, right?
The yacht had a refit in 2002 and has been ‘constantly upgraded’ in Mallorca – the place the boat has called home for the last little while.
Where would you sail in ‘So Fong’ if you had the chance?
