This car enthusiast snagged himself a Chevy Caprice that was in extremely high demand, as the original owner was getting 50 calls about buying it.
YouTuber mr75caprice, real name Juan Estrada, purchased the car in the US state of Ohio from a 87-year-old woman.
The car had belonged to the lady’s mother, who had passed away in the mid 1990s and left the Caprice to her daughter.
Thirty years had passed, and she now wanted to give it to a new home.

Why was this Caprice in such high demand?
Josh, the tow-truck driver who delivered the Caprice to Juan reported on how popular the car was.
He said: “She had about 50 phone calls while I was siting there.”
There were prospective buyers vying to secure it by offering $5,000, which she turned down.
Even whilst Juan and Josh are talking, a Dodge Challenger pulled up and the driver waved some cash around to express his interest, as reported by autoevolution.
So, you’re probably thinking ‘What’s the big deal about this car? What makes it so special?’
For a start, this 1987 Caprice has aged like a fine wine and still shines despite being washed and waxed three years ago.
The interior is pristine, with even the ashtrays and back seats appearing un-used.
Rust is a stranger to this car, unlike this 1963 Mercury Monterey going for sale on eBay.
What can we say? This car is a head turner – no wonder the phone was ringing off the hook.
Or, buzzing in the woman’s pocket. It is 2024 after all.
How does the car drive?
With a relatively low mileage of 56,000 and a rare V6 engine, the Caprice starts up like a dream.
When first released, 3,110 units were produced out a total of 155,281 cars rolled out by General Motors.
GM had brought in some styling changes, including a hood ornament.
The car doesn’t have a passenger side window, which concerned Juan slightly.
But on the whole, he was ecstatic with his purchase.
It feels nice to be the lucky person to get takes home a highly coveted vehicle.
