The views during an aeroplane flight are mesmerizing, but you know what’s even more amazing? Getting a view from the cockpit of a plane, an opportunity that is usually only available to the pilots.
Watching the world beneath from the eyes of a pilot is completely different than through a passenger window.
Well, while we can’t get a first-hand experience of the view from a cockpit, we can at least feel to some degree how pilots feel while piloting a plane, the challenges they face, the views they explore, and the communication they do with their teams.

Thanks to pilot and YouTuber Swayne Martin, we can now experience a full flight from Dallas to Miami in 360 degrees!
Imagine – you’re strapped in, all set for takeoff.
The plane, an Embraer ERJ-145, starts its journey, climbing up to 29,000 feet.
And that’s when the real adventure begins.
You get to see everything the pilot sees – the sky, the clouds, and the ground below.
But it’s not all smooth sailing.
Along the way, the flight encounters thunderstorms and rough weather.
Luckily, the skilled pilot navigates through it all like a pro.
Well, he is a pro, after all.
As the flight nears its destination, it’s time for the final descent.
The landing? It’s as smooth as butter!
After touching down safely, the pilot follows all the post-landing procedures, taxiing the plane to the gate.
Watching Swayne Martin’s video feels like you’re right there in the cockpit, experiencing the entire journey first-hand.
And – if you’re slightly better at imagining – it’s like flying the massive plane yourself.
So, the next time you’re dreaming of flying high or piloting a plane, don’t forget, Swayne Martin has a YouTube channel where he regularly updates the aviation aficionados with his new journeys.
