Shakira had to spend $15 Million to move her luxurious fleet of cars from Spain to US

Shakira is going through an incredibly expensive divorce.

She and Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique recently announced their split.

But it’s not the usual legal fees or custody battles that are costing a fortune.

The singer has to cough up millions to transport her entire garage across the ocean.

Shakira met her soon-to-be ex-husband 12 years ago on the set of the Waka Waka music video.

She and Pique have two children together, and a home in Barcelona.

After he was caught cheating, they called it quits.

Now Shakira wants nothing to do with their family home, except the contents of the garage.

She took to TikTok to drag Pique for cheating on her with a 23-year-old, launching a new song about the affair.

In it, she compares what he did to swapping “a Ferrari for a [Renault] Twingo,”.

As a comeback, Pique arrived at work the next week in a $10,000 Twingo.

She’s taking the kids and setting up a new life in Florida, with her fleet of cars in tow.

There are a lot of costs involved in uprooting your life.

The fees at her kids’ new school alone are about $46,000 a year.

But after receiving the bill for her car transportation costs, that’s the least of her worries.

You might be surprised to learn that Shakira loves cars.

While she doesn’t own a Ferrari, she does have an impressive and varied collection.

Her most expensive car is a Mercedes S-Class, which is worth about $125,000.

She’s also got a Mercedes SL550 which she bought for $114,700.

The other models in her fleet include an Audi A7 Sportback, a Tesla Model S, a BMW X6, an Audi Q7, a Mercedes SLK250, a Mini Cooper, and a Jeep Wrangler.

Then there’s her humble SEAT Leon, which cost just $20,000

Clearly, Shakira is very attached to her fleet because she insists that none of them get left behind.

The singer will have to pay an unbelievable $15.2 million for them to be taken across the Atlantic Ocean.

While she is worth $300 million, it’s still a significant chunk of her wealth.
