The neighborhood of Beverly Hills has an unusual resident, a 1968 Shelby GT500 Eleanor replica.

But sadly, the iconic car is just collecting dust and parking tickets, resting on the road side.

The car has been sitting at the same spot for some weeks now, just gathering fines and grime.

The mystery of Shelby GT500 Eleanor replica at Beverly Hills

The story of this 1968 Shelby GT500 Eleanor replica has been covered by Cheng on the popular YouTube channel Effspot.

Cheng received the tip about the car, after which, he decided to investigate further.

He found out that the car was purchased from Adrenaline Motorsports in Santa Clarita.

To investigate the mystery further, he went to the dealership’s location, only to find out a barren land as the business had been closed.

Despite lacking any clues, he continued the investigation, covering the whole story on his YouTube channel.

The car had been sitting outside a house in Beverly Hills, but there was no evidence that it actually belonged to the homeowner.

The owner remains a mystery

Sadly, the dust is not the only thing the car is dealing with.

It has collected multiple parking tickets, with the latest one with a warning of seizing the car if not moved within 72 hours.

The police has taken photos of the vehicle, and even left some instructions for the owner.

However, the owner still remains a mystery.

At this rate, the car has most probably been already seized by the police.

In a video, Cheng had a word with some of the local officers, but they were equally baffled about the car’s mystery.

It was revealed that despite its recent registration, there is no address on file, suggesting that the owner is deliberately keeping the vehicle off the radar.

There’s probably something mysterious going on with the owner, because why else would someone who owns a classic piece of automotive history leave it abandoned?
