Shrek’s swamp home has been recreated in real life.
The muddy, moss-covered replica is nestled in the rolling hills of Scotland and is now available to book on Airbnb.

Deep in the forests of the Scottish Highlands, the Airbnb has been recreated to give kids (and big kids) the chance to live like their favorite ogre.
Hosted by Donkey, Shrek’s swamp house is surrounded by beautiful, dense forestry.
And inside, it has charming rustic interiors fit for, well, an ogre.
Sticking true to the 2001 film, the Airbnb also has Shrek’s iconic outhouse detached from the main home.
So, be prepared to go for a little walk in the dark if you decide to stay.
The Airbnb listing says guests will be able to “relax in the ambiance of earwax candlelight” and “kick their feet up with a parfait because everybody likes parfait!”.
And in the morning, Donkey’s making waffles, too.
“Shrek’s swamp is lovely. Just beautiful. The perfect place to entertain guests,” Donkey said.
“You know what I like about it? Everything. The overgrown landscaping, the modest interiors, the nice boulders, all of it.
“I can’t wait for guests to experience this muddy slice of paradise for themselves.”
If you’re keen to swap city living for a couple of nights in the swamp, you can book your stay from October 13.
Oh, and it’s totally free.
To celebrate good childhood memories, Airbnb is covering the cost, and also making a donation to the HopScotch Children’s Charity.
But if you don’t live in Scotland, Airbnb says you’ll still need to cover your travel costs.

And if you love seeing your childhood memories recreated, you can’t miss this incredible Harry Potter house.
The gorgeous gothic house has been imagined in Chelsea, London and it has an enchanting, other-worldly appeal.
The price is also dreamy, in that most people could only afford it in their dreams.
