The famous mansion from the beloved movie ‘Home Alone’ is up for grabs.
This enormous house, featured in the iconic 1990 film, is a part of everyone’s childhood.
This place is simply massive. It’s a whopping 9,000 square feet, with five big bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Almost makes you wonder what Kevin McCallister’s parents did to afford it.

It was more than enough space for young Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) to outwit the bumbling thieves with his clever pranks.
Imagine living in the place where all that actually happened – well, sort of.
According to reports, the last time this Home Alone house was sold was way back in 2012 for $1,585,000.
But now, it’s on the market again, and guess how much it’s going for?
A staggering $5.25 million!
That’s a lot of money, but it’s not every day you get the chance to own a piece of movie history.
A complete tour of the house is given by thedawnmckennagroup on Instagram, and it looks simply amazing.
The house is located in Winnetka, Illinois.
While the house has gone through a renovation, the most memorable parts of the house are still intact.
The kitchen has gone through a remarkable change, they have added a movie theater, and there’s even an indoor sports court.
How cool is that?
“Ever wanted to live like Kevin McCallister? Now is your chance to fulfill your childhood dreams!” says the Dawn McKenna Group, the real estate team selling the property.
And they’re right – who wouldn’t want to live in a mansion that’s been a part of so many childhood memories?
Not everyone likes the changes, but updating the Home Alone house to modern standards was necessary.
Despite the changes, the house still holds a special place in our hearts.
So, who will be the lucky person to buy this piece of cinematic history?
Whoever it is, they’re in for a treat – provided they can handle the hefty price tag.
