MrBeast is the most subscribed individual on YouTube and, as you can imagine, he’s making quite a lot of dough from it.

Even though YouTube is his main source of income, he’s also active on other platforms, including X, where he received a strange ‘offer’ from Elon Musk.

In addition to his 225 million subscribers on YouTube, he can also count on 25+ million followers on X and 6.7 million followers on X’s rival Threads, where he was the first person to hit one million followers back in July.

Even though MrBeast is pretty active on X, he doesn’t really post any videos there, which led to a strange interaction with Elon Musk himself.

In an X thread (no pun intended), somebody told MrBeast he should “upload on this platform too”, to which Elon Musk responded with one simple word.

“Yeah,” he said.

MrBeast isn’t particularly happy with this idea, though.

“My videos cost millions to make and even if they got a billion views on X it wouldn’t fund a fraction of it,” he wrote.

“I’m down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking!”

However, in a different thread on X, yet another interaction between MrBeast and Elon Musk led to a weird ‘offer’, in a roundabout way.

“If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya,” Musk wrote.

And when MrBeast asked if he could have Twitter if “that happens”, Elon Musk said “Ok”.

Elon Musk has been trying to bring monetization to X since he bought it in 2022, with mixed results.

However, he certainly can’t match YouTube when it comes to that.

In 2023, MrBeast made a whopping $82 million from YouTube alone.

And that’s on top of that of all his other businesses including a delivery-only restaurant chain called MrBeast Burgers.

Many believe MrBeast will become YouTube’s first billionaire.

He’s halfway there according to Forbes, with an estimated net worth of $500 million.
