As far as futuristic cars go, the XPeng X2 is one of the best.

It’s a flying car that looks like it stepped straight out of sci-fi.

The world of flying cars is still in its infancy, but if the XPeng is anything to go by, the future is bright.

The Chinese company’s prototype X2 can fly for around 35 minutes off a three-hour charge, and – if things keep going the way they are – we’ll definitely see improvements to that in the near future.

The car looks tremendous, and has four helicopter-style propellers on the side that get it off the floor.

The idea is that future concepts will drive on the road as well, but they’re clearly well on the way to bringing the movies to life with this vehicle.

Take a look for yourself – can you see yourself whizzing around in one of these?

And this isn’t the only flying car Xpeng has treated us to.

They’ve also unveiled another flying car, called the ‘Aeroht‘.

And this stands out because it looks like any other supercar.

Except, at the push of a button, it can transform itself into a fully-fledged flying car / eVTOL.

Brilliant stuff.
