How does turning a Mercedes AMG GT into a stunning Black Series model sound?
That’s exactly what this YouTuber aimed to do with his wrecked AMG GT – and the end result was quite a surprise.
To start with, Chris decided to purchase the original body parts from Mercedes. However, the body kit was around £155,000.
So, he opted for ‘replica’ Mercedes parts imported from China.

Turning a Mercedes AMG GT into a Black Series model
The transformation journey from a wrecked Mercedes AMG GT to one of the most legendary supercars was documented on his channel, Chris Slix.
After the body kit was installed, Chris realized it wasn’t up to the mark, needing further refinements to match the iconic Black Series.
To fix this, he took the car to Flat Out Paint Shop, where the team got to work perfecting the panel gaps.
The process involved removing the bumper to fit new headlights, costing £1,000 and £750 each. After the initial fitting, additional panel adjustments and sanding were required.
The shop worked to ensure the gaps were all 3mm, marking and adjusting the parts for a better fit. They used filler to smooth everything out and got the car ready for primer.
The video showed the team covering parts of the car to protect the carbon fiber during painting.
Adding customized wheels and modifying exhaust tips
Next, he partnered with Wheel Mania to find custom wheels that looked perfect and matched the class of a Black Series model.
To complete the look, he installed AMG carbon door sills and took the car to RPM Performance to align and modify the exhaust tips.
The vehicle was finished off with perfect carbon fiber details, giving it a sleek, sporty appearance.
The final result was truly amazing – turning a regular AMG GT into a stunning Black Series.
However, there’s nothing quite like the real thing – and this isn’t the sort of project that just anyone can take on.
Perhaps you’re better saving up instead.
