This is one of the largest road cars in the UK, and it is a Cadillac Escalade that’s almost twice the size of a Range Rover.
Specifically, it’s a Cadillac Escalade ESV, which stands for Escalade Stretch Vehicle.
The irony is that what’s considered large in the UK is probably average in the US.
This Cadillac, even with the extended wheelbase, would still be considered of relatively ordinary size in the United States.

Like a normal Cadillac Escalade, but longer
For whatever reason, some sources believe that ESV stands for Experimental Safe Vehicle, but it actually stands for Escalade Stretch Vehicle, as explained by Cadillac themselves.
The main difference between a ‘regular’ Cadillac Escalade and the Cadillac Escalade ESV is size, but it’s a noticeable difference.
The wheelbase is more or less the same as that of a Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII in its EWB configuration, but the Cadillac comes in with a much longer trunk and seven seats.
By contrast, the Phantom prioritizes luxury and space for the occupants.
The standard Escalade measures 211 inches (5.35 meters), while the ESV model measures 226 inches (5.75 meters).
This makes one of the longest cars in the UK, the second biggest after the aforementioned Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII EWB.
Big cars in the UK vs big cars in the US
The Cadillac Escalade is an American institution.
Celebrities love it too, for example, both Rick Ross and Tom Brady had one at some point.
There are bulletproof versions as well.
But the thing is, the Cadillac is simply too large for UK roads, or European roads in general for that matter.
Still, at least we’re talking about normal(ish), reasonable size.
