This Chevy Silverado driver bit off more than he could chew when he attempted to tackle Boulder Mountain in Utah, United States.
Miles away from any paved roads, this Silverado found itself stuck at a 36 degree angle.
After many failed attempts to free the truck, the owner eventually had to walk away and leave it there.
Months later, the owner hired a vehicle rescue company to attempt the job.

Chevy Silverado stuck on the edge of an off-roading trail
The Chevy Silverado was — and still is — a capable machine.
It’s certainly had an incredible evolution since it came out in 1999.
But it’s not infallible, as this driver proved.
After months, the team from Matt’s Off Road Recovery stepped in.
This was an extreme trail that most vehicles couldn’t conquer at stock configurations.
That’s likely why the Silverado’s owner just left it there — and also because it was slightly tipped over the trail’s edge at a 36-degree angle.
It made it out of the mountain
Using a series of tactics that involved industry-grade cables, winches, and a modified XJ Jeep Cherokee, they eventually rescued the truck.
They used the trees in the area to serve as anchors for the cables, which certainly helped.
Interestingly, the pickup truck was back on relatively flatter land in no time and then made it out of the trail on its own power.
The team showed the effortless rescue in a video from 2020 posted on their YouTube channel.
These guys are professionals and it was not their first time pulling off something like this.
Only recently, they pulled out a Ram truck from an extremely offbeat mountain trail.
There was also a Rivian stuck in a ditch for months that Matt’s Off Road Recovery rescued.
Anyway, the owner of this Chevy Silverado instantly sold the truck to someone on the rescue team because he was done with it.
Well, at least it got a happy ending.
