Yankee Candle owner and founder Michael Kittredge not only created one of the most successful candle brands in the world, but he also created an epic car collection.

Kittredge passed away in 2019 and left behind a huge estate that included a vast array of vehicles.

One of the buildings on his estate was a garage.

This contained a portion, but not all in his massive collection of supercars, luxury cars, and classic cars.

The collection includes one or two standouts, including cars from Aston Martin and Bentley, which highlighted Kittredge’s wealth.

Kittredge housed the collection in a barn-style garage

Images online showed off the car collection, which was housed in a custom garage designed to look like a barn.

Inside, at least two rows of cars lined the garage.

Images show an Aston Martin DB9, Bentley Continental GT, and a classic Willys Jeep.

Videos shared on Instagram reveal even more of the collection, with a second room hiding even more cars.

A closer look at the vehicles shows that he had a pair of Jaguar XK120s and three mid-engine Ferraris.

Plus, like many rich guy collections, Kittredge also had a gorgeous Shelby Cobra.

The Yankee Candle founder’s property was vast

The car collection was just a small part of what was a genuinely giant estate.

The size of the estate itself would be enough to make any of us jealous.

The estate went up for sale in 2023 and it was built on 60 acres of land and includes all sorts of facilities.

In addition to the garage, Kittredge had a spa, indoor water park, nine-hole golf course, and massive tennis court on the land.

The tennis court also doubled as an auditorium and arcade, due to the wealth of the Yankee Candle founder.

Kittredge also had actual seats from Boston Garden, the former Celtics stadium that was demolished in 1997.

One of the seats even has NBA legend Larry Bird’s signature.

The only major surprise on the estate is that, with all that money and all the cars, Kittredge didn’t fancy building himself a private race track.

Now, that really would have been the final ingredient to make this a truly perfect place to live.
