A YouTuber has built a $2,500,000 fully functioning Bugatti Chiron replica out of scraps from a junkyard.
As they say: “One man’s trash is another man’s Bugatti.”
Of course, they don’t say that, but this YouTuber certainly does.

Bugatti Chiron replica made out of trash
YouTuber Steven Song built a fully functioning Bugatti Chiron replica completely out of trash just because he could.
If that sounds cool AF, it’s because it totally is.
Although we have seen many supercar replicas, none of those projects were as impressive as this one.
It was a bizarre project that ‘cost nearly $100,000 and took over four months’ according to Song.
Song divided the project into five parts.
The first involved finding a junkyard car to use as the base for the replica.
Building the replica
Song found an early 2000s Pontiac G6 and decided it was the best choice for the Bugatti Chiron replica, due to its malleable metal frame, and similar dimensions to the supercar.
It seems a Pontiac is quite a nice building block for replicas, as someone also made a Lamborghini Aventador out of a 2006 Pontiac GTO.
The Pontiac G6 was brought back to a warehouse Song rented out and stripped down to the metal framing.
Thankfully, the engine in the G6 still worked.
Song didn’t need to source a new one, which is lucky as that might have raised the cost of the car significantly.
After that, Song’s team used steel from the junkyard to create the exoskeleton of the replica.
At stage three, they took a 3D scan of a miniature model of a Bugatti Chiron to know the exact measurements they would need for the replica.
With that information at hand, Song’s team used spray foam and chicken wire to shape out the car.
After it was dried, they had to sand, file, and cut the foam to make it look like a Bugatti Chiron.
However, thanks to some great bodywork and painting, the car truly looked like a ‘Junkyard Bugatti,’ according to Song.
All in all, it was a wonderful project from start to end and you can watch the full video of the project right here.
The end result is a fully functioning Bugatti Chiron replica, which is amazing when you think about it.
