Alfa Romeo Tonale pricing announced – and it’s cheaper than you think

Pricing for the all-new 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale has been announced – and it’s cheaper than you think.

Starting at $42,995, it’s cheaper than a BMW X3 or Lexus RX, and costs a tiny bit more than an Infiniti QX50.

That puts the Tonale middle-of-the-pack in the world of luxury compact SUVs.

That’s not bad considering the average new car price in the U.S. is almost $49,000.

When it comes to Tonale trim levels, there’s three options to choose from: Sprint, Ti and Veloce.

Sprint is the cheapest offering at $42,995, whilst middle-of-the-road Ti is $44,995.

Veloce, considered the performance version of the Tonale, comes in at $47,495.

It’s worth noting these prices do not include a $1,595 destination charge.

Should you wish to lease the Alfa Romeo Tonale, you can take advantage of a $7,500 Federal EV tax credit.

Pre-orders are open

Alfa has begun accepting preorders for Ti and Veloce trim levels.

You’ll have to wait until later in Q1 of 2023 for the Sprint version, though.

Irrespective of which trim level you opt for, you might have a wait on your hands – it was originally estimated the Tonale would land in dealerships during the first quarter of 2023.
