This Toyota Supra replica is not quite what you’d expect.
The motor in question is a Toyota Supra – but it’s actually got Lexus badging.
The bizarre car is being sold on Marketplace and it’s causing quite the stir.
But what features does it actually have?

What’s going on with the Toyota Supra replica?
From Lampung Timur in Indonesia, the car is said to be a ‘Toyota Supra’, but quite fairly, people are questioning that.
The Supra name was revealed in April of 1978 and has had many the sporting success.
But, this specific car is just a bit confusing.

The car listed on Facebook Marketplace is in good nick and has driven just 2,000km.
It’s a manual, powered by petrol and has only ever had two owners.
It sounds like quite the catch, right?
Well, not everything is as it appears.
To start with, the badge says Lexus, but it is listed as being a Toyota – quite the mystery for a car lover.
The build isn’t that similar to the Supra either, but more like a Corona and has lights reminiscent of an R34.
With its wide exterior, it also bears resemblance to a Skyline- so it really is quite the car mash-up.
It’s what’s inside that counts…

The car’s shape poses so many questions as to what body it actually has – so maybe the new owner can do some investigating.
It’s a relatively new listing too, having been online for only two weeks.
The Lexus badge, does throw so many questions into the equation though, with some even asking if the image was made on Photoshop.
It is on sale for about $3,000, which is pretty reasonable.
You may want to change the badge though, or you might risk annoying life-long Lexus fans.
But we have to admit, the headlights are similar to a Supra, so at least it has that going for it.
