A Dodge truck that was trapped between trees was rescued by motor fans.
The 174 Dodge Power Wagon was left stranded for 41 years and desperately needed a helping hand.
Then, a group of men found the truck and attempted to bring it to life.
Much to their surprise, they had some interesting results.

The Dodge Power Truck is famed for it’s movie star backstory
The 1974 Dodge truck was a well known motor, back in it’s prime.
In fact, it is most commonly known for featuring in many TV shows and movies.
From Panic in the City, to Breaking Bad, to Brokeback Mountain, this car is a real star.
And, although it has been scrutinised in the past for it’s fuel consumption, it was always praised for being a reliable run-around.
Fast-forward a few decades and one such truck has been found trapped in a forest, completely overhauled by nature.
But Youtubers Budget Buildz made it their mission to inject some life back into the relic.
The men came across the truck in a bad way.
It’s exterior had suffered from dents and the tires had even become one with nature, solemnly sinking into the ground.
So, up for a challenge, they decided to try and give it a second lease of life and aimed to get it up and running once more.
After giving the outside a good old scrub, what was left actually wasn’t all that bad.
The rust wasn’t too shabby for a bonnet that had been left to form a solid relationship with mother nature.
What’s more, the inside wasn’t too disappointing either.

The engine needed a bit more than a polish and dust for the truck to be capable of running
However, the engine posed a slight problem.
The small-block V8 needed some work to be in fighting fit condition.
A working Dodge Power Wagon can reach a top speed of 100mph, which – all things considered – is not bad for an old banger.
After being watered with some new oil and a few things being adjusted, it was go time.
The truck was happy to come to life and was juiced up.
However, a transmission leak and a few other problems do mean that the truck isn’t quite in good enough condition to tackle the roads and highways just yet.
But, who knows – with a bit more TLC and a few more engine specs repaired – the truck could be gracing roads again very soon.
