A Ferrari dealership in Madrid has been crowned the best in the world at this year’s DAM Annual Dealer Meeting.

Santogal Ferrari Madrid was awarded the prestigious Best TOP Ferrari Showroom 2024 at the special event in October.

The award ceremony took place at the automobile maker’s factory in Maranello, Italy.

As well as claiming a cool new accolade, the winners also brought home a V12 engine from the iconic 12Cilindri as a trophy. Cool, right?

The Madrid dealership faced stiff competition

With an impeccable reputation and rich heritage, Ferrari is one of the most luxurious brands out there.

In fact, one of the marque’s cars – the first Ferrari 250 GTO – is worth a staggering $55 million.

So being named its best dealership in the world is a pretty huge deal, to put it mildly.

And while you may assume that the favorite hot spots of the world’s richest such as Dubai or Los Angeles, may have laid claim to the prize, it was actually dealerships in Tennessee in the US, China, Australia, and Spain that made it into the top four.

On the night, Ferrari announced that the Spanish dealership had taken the top spot thanks to its ‘excellence in its sales and marketing KPI results’.

The prize was collected by general manager Luis Pessanha, brand manager Julio de Diego, and marketing manager Antonio Trescastro.

Speaking after collecting the prize, Pessanha said that it’s a ‘fantastic challenge’ to work for the luxury carmaker and said the team at the dealership ‘don’t just sell cars, but authentic works of art’. It’s hard to disagree isn’t it?

The dealership won a Ferrari V12 engine from the 12Cilindri

As well as being able to officially call themselves the best Ferrari dealership on the planet, the team also took home a custom-built V12 engine from the 12Cilindri that’s made by one of the marque’s specialist technicians at the Maranello factory.

Each specially-made  6.5-liter twelve-cylinder engine takes five whole days to make – and is a true thing of beauty.

Congrats to the winners!

Now, while there’s a lot to be said for visiting a swanky dealership to pick out a new supercar – there’s a place in Singapore doing things very differently.

Autobahn Motors has opened up the world’s first supercar vending machine that stands at 15 stories high and is filled with 60 high-end cars including Ferraris and Lamborghinis.

Doesn’t that sound fun?
