A guy named Rauno Märtsoo – Pirate’s Eye on YouTube – has built a homemade Tesla Cybertruck and it’s absolutely hilarious.

He built his own version of the futuristic vehicle and posted it on TikTok, after which it went viral on the platform.

Rouno used nothing but scrap metal and a lot of creativity to build the replica.

While this DIY Cybertruck might not match the original’s sleekness, it’s definitely a head-turner – and it only took him five nights to make it.

Homemade Tesla Cybertruck

Rauno’s wild project, covered on his YouTube channel, cost him just $700, which is a massive difference from the price of an original Cybertruck.

However, the difference between the two is also vast.

The base vehicle he used was a 1991 Lada, a car far from Tesla’s high-tech lineup.

But with some welding, tape, and plenty of imagination, he managed to transform this old car into his own version of the Cybertruck.

Well, Rauno is not the first to give a shot at making a Tesla Cybertruck at home. Earlier, we saw a YouTuber creating a fully functional electric pickup.

Rauno Märtsoo’s creation caught everyone’s attention, and the video blew up on TikTok, gaining more than 8.5 million views.

While on the outside, the replica still looked somewhat like a Cybertruck, the interior was a completely different story.

The replica looks far from the real thing

Most of the original Lada parts remained, including the dashboard, steering wheel, and gear system. But there was a twist: he added a screen to give it a Tesla-like feel.

To add to the fun, Rauno even stuck a Tesla logo on the front and the side, giving it a bit of that authentic look.

At the back, he fitted a giant exhaust, which is the complete opposite of Tesla’s eco-friendly design. His creation was like a mix of old-school and future tech mashed together.

While Rauno’s homemade Cybertruck is far from the real thing, it definitely has its own charm.
