Hyundai plans to launch its hydrogen-powered supercar, the N Vision 74 in 2026.

This iconic car is based on the N Vision 74 concept, which made a big impression when it was first revealed in 2022.

However, before finally bringing it into the market in 2026, the automaker will produce a road-ready trial version later this year.

While Hyundai cars are known to be super budget-friendly, that’s not the case with N Vision 74.

Based on a report by Korean Economy Daily, this car will cost somewhat around 500 million South Korean won (around $365,844).

With such a hefty price tag, this car rivals the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other popular sports brands.

Hyundai is one of the first brands to introduce this innovative technology.

Earlier, a BMW-backed firm unveiled the world’s first Hydrogen-powered VTOL.

Initially, the South Korean automaker planned to produce only 100 units of N Vision 74.

However, it now plans to send out over 200 cars in the first 2 years of production.

If you believe hydrogen-powered cars are less impressive than their petrol counterparts, think again.

The Hyundai N Vision 74 is projected to go from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in under three seconds,.

That’s on par with the performance of some of the most capable supercars.

The interesting thing here is that while the car has an impressive speed, it wears a retroesque look inspired by the Pony Coupe concept from 1974.

It’s quite amusing to see the retro exterior again trending, similar to those big bulky buttons in the Toyota 4Runner.

As the brand’s first supercar, the N Vision 74 has a special addition — gullwing doors — which complete its iconic appearance.

With its futuristic and economical technology and retro-inspired aesthetics, the N Vision 74 is bound to be a pleasant surprise when it hits the road.
