The Lightship L1 is shaking up the world of RVs.

It was designed by America’s first all-electric RV company and looks unlike any other trailer on the market.

The L1 was created by ex-Tesla employees.

This is clear in the way it combines cutting-edge electric technology with impeccable style.

Lightship L1 marries elegant and contemporary form with forward-thinking sustainable design.

The trailer is thoroughly streamlined, from the clean silhouette of the exterior to the neat push drawers inside.

The designers spent hours putting the prototype through wind tunnels to ensure the most aerodynamic trailer possible.

Once parked, you can activate ‘camp mode’ which raises the trailer roof to a roomy 7 ft 6 in.

Buyers can choose between the L1 Essential, which has a 40kWh battery, and the L1 Long Range, which comes with an 80kWh pack.

The Essential starts at $120,000 while the Long Range model will set you back $151,500.

Staying in this RV is more like staying in a high-end hotel than going on a camping trip.

The kitchen has spacious counters, plenty of tucked-away storage, and even a dishwasher.

Glass panels completely line the L1, providing panoramic views of the great outdoors whether showering or chopping onions.

The glass panels also swing open to maximize time spent amongst nature.

This RV sleeps up to six people on its chic pink mattresses.

The roof is totally covered in solar panels, with two extra solar awnings that pop up to soak up extra rays while providing shade.

You can stay off-the-grid in this trailer for seven days due to the ample solar panels and its powerful battery.

In fact, it can even be used as a generator to charge your EV while on the road.

The Lightship L1 ensures an impressive towing range for your vehicle, whether it’s electric or gas, thanks to its dedicated battery and motor

Campers are celebrating that the L1 Lightship is breathing new life into the world of trailer design.

“Can’t wait to see some disruption in the RV space,” one commenter said.

“Finally an RV that isn’t designed like a Dixie cup from the 90s,” another said.
