Land Rover has teamed up with British watchmaker Elliot Brown to create a limited-edition watch.

It’s inspired by the all-new Defender Works V8 and is less expensive than you might expect.

The watch is limited to 1,000 units worldwide and will cost around $730.

The timepiece, just like the car, is rugged and tough, and it was designed to be used as a go-anywhere, do-anything timepiece.

The case is made from stainless steel painted with a unique camouflage pattern, and the luminous dial glows in the dark showcasing three different colors: Pale Green, Ice Blue and Glow White.

VÉRIFIEZ CELA !

Automakers regularly partner up with watch brands to launch new timepieces because they know that many of their customers love watches just as much as they love cars.

The idea was to capture the essence of the Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II, a tough off-roading vehicle that the company created to celebrate global Land Rover expeditions including the iconic Camel Trophy.

The vehicle itself is limited to 25 units and unlike the watch, it is phenomenally expensive, with a price tag of $275,000.

Daytime will reveal a more conservative white-on-white camo pattern for the dial, with a black and white second hand, and black minute and hour hand.

To top it all off, the watch is offered with a soft rubber strap inspired by the Land Rover Defender’s aluminium hood decals.

The watch retails for £595, equivalent to $729 at today’s exchange rate.

About the Land Rover Defender Works V8 Trophy II

Launched earlier this year, the Works V8 Trophy II is the second iteration of a special-edition Defender that Land Rover built to honor the brand’s all-terrain heritage.

It is powered by a 5.0-liter V8, delivering 405 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque.

It is painted with a camo pattern that combines three colors: Gloss Black and Fuji White, along with Narvik Black for the roof.

As a cherry on top, Elliot Brown made a gorgeous clock for the dashboard.
