Imagine moving a Mazda MX-5 Miata across the country by packing it into a U-Haul truck. That’s not how most people would do it.

The usual way is to either drive the car or tow it, but one guy took a completely different approach.

Instead of driving his Miata for 17 hours, TikTok user Internet Skater packed it into a moving truck.

Brandon, known as Internet Skater, had the challenge of transporting his first-generation Mazda Miata along with a houseful of belongings.

Packing a Mazda MX-5 Miata into a U-Haul

With the U-Haul already towing a trailer, he couldn’t tow the Miata, too, but that’s when he got creative.

Using a car trailer and jacks, Brandon carefully moved the Miata into the U-Haul, leaving only a few inches of space between the car and the walls of the truck.

The car was tightly packed inside the truck, making sure it wouldn’t shift during the trip.

Finally, the car reached its destination safely, and now it was time to unload it.

However, it wasn’t as easy as moving the Mazda MX-5 Miata inside the truck.

Talking about this amazing car, a new Mazda MX-5 was announced back in 2022, which looked completely different from the one we are talking about.

Unloading the car wasn’t an easy feat

The loading dock they tried was too high to unload the Miata, so Brandon called a tow truck for assistance. He paid the driver $100 to get the car out of the U-Haul safely.

While his plan would have surely cost him some extra bucks, Brandon’s creative plan saved him from the hassle of driving his Mazda MX-5 Miata for 17 long hours, all the way across the country.

His idea was certainly outside the box – something most people wouldn’t think of, and even if they did, they might never actually try it.
