The police in Fresno, California, have been celebrating a big bust after recovering around $3 million in stolen Dodge vehicles.
The Fresno Police Department arrested seven people connected to the thefts, with most of the cars chopped up for spares in the California shop.
The group behind the thefts had allegedly stolen quite a few muscle cars and built up quite a collection during that time.
It is no surprise the department was celebrating, thanks to the huge value of the stolen vehicles.

Stolen cars equated up to $3 million
The actual operation behind the car theft was huge, and it prompted a big operation from the Fresno Police Department.
As images from the location show, the cars were in various states of repair and disrepair, and they will likely bring tears to the eyes of muscle car enthusiasts.
Images show dash assemblies, steering wheels, and more all neatly lined up.
Clearly, this was a well thought out operation with the thieves keeping tabs on everything that they had stolen.

Some of the steering wheels have SRT logos on them, with a few also bearing the Dodge logo.
For Mopar fans, that means there are likely the remains of a few Dodge Challenger and Charger muscle cars at the Thieve’s workshop.
Mopar muscle cars were the focus of the robbers
The Fresno Police Department said that Mopar vehicles were the main focus of the culprits.
Not only were Chargers and Challengers hidden amongst the parts, but so too were Dodge Durangos and Trackhawks.
However, it would appear they were happy to steal whatever they could get their hands on.
The police also found Chevrolet Camaros and a few Infinitis hiding away.
That indicated they’d made a good amount of cash before they got caught.

If anyone in the Fresno area lost a muscle car, the chances are it was these guys behind the theft.
Seeing any car stolen is never nice, but to see so many muscle cars chopped up makes our hearts break.
You have to wonder how many more cars they had stolen, and if they had other operations which the police are yet to uncover.
