Paul Walker’s R34 Skyline from Fast & Furious 4 is headed for auction

The R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R driven by the late Paul Walker in Fast & Furious 4 is set to make one lucky fan of the franchise happy when it sells at auction later this year.

This blue car you see here was one of two that Walker’s character Brian O’Conner drove in the films.

While the silver R34 from 2 Fast 2 Furious may be better known, the prestige of this car is certainly still there.

This particular car, a 2000 model modified by Kaizo Industries, was the star car in the film.

The others that featured were merely copycat body shells on custom frames used for stunts.

As with just about all Skylines this one has been modified, although it has been kept quite tasteful.

Visually, it was kept simple with no stickers, decals, or crazy paint colors at Walker’s request.

However, there are some subtle tweaks including a Nismo Version II bumper, 19-inch Volk Racing wheels, and a Nismo NE-1 exhaust.

A Turbonetics intercooler is the only noteworthy change to the 2.6-liter twin-turbo straight-six under the hood.

It also sits on lowered springs to give it a meaner stance, and packs some beefy Rotora brakes.

Inside, there’s also OMP Racing Seats with five-point harnesses and a Momo steering wheel.

Plus, there’s a custom Windows XP computer system that shows you all of the car’s vital information.

The Skyline car, which is offered through GT-A International, has just 6000km (3280mi) on the clock.

Consider that, the insane values of Skylines in recent years, and the Paul Walker connection, there’s every chance this could break the record for the most expensive R34 sold.

This movie car isn’t the only R34 with a Paul Walker connection to come up for sale this year.

Back in June, a 1999 Skyline GT-R V-Spec II that Walker drove extensively went up for sale.

The car was brought to the US by infamous importer Motorex.

As it didn’t have enough miles on it to be legally considered a used car, Walker was tasked with getting the odometer to an acceptable number.

Clearly, he happily obliged, putting over 24,000km (15,000mi) on the clock.
