The Shelby Mustang GT350 Is BACK!
Shelby American

Shelby American is bringing back the Shelby Mustang GT350 and GT350R, using an ultra-powerful version of the Ford V8.

Both the GT350 and GT350R versions are street-legal, but they’re both a bit extreme.

The best part is that even though these are technically not Ford products, they’re made by Shelby, you still get Ford warranty.

That’s the good news, but – on the other hand – the price is quite steep.

Production of the new Shelby Mustang is limited, and here’s why

Shelby American, the company that holds the rights to the iconic Shelby brand, is bringing back the Shelby Mustang GT350 and GT350R.

They’re both powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter Ford V8, but the GT350R is more track-ready, with more carbon fiber, better aerodynamics and a roll cage.

You’re still not left wanting for power with either option, though.

The GT350 makes 810 horsepower, while the GT350R puts out 830.

Production is limited, because Shelby only wants to sell 562 of these.

This is because that’s the exact same number of Mustang GT350s that Ford and Shelby built in 1965.

These cars are fully covered by Ford in terms warranty, and you can drive to your local Ford dealer to have them serviced.

This is hardly surprising.

Even though they’re separate brands, Ford and Shelby are like Mercedes and Brabus.

Not the cheapest Mustang in the world

The Ford Mustang still holds the record for the fastest-selling new car in the history, with 418,812 units in the first year, and over one million by the second year.

Part of the reason why Ford set this record was the fact that the Mustang has always been cheap.

That’s clearly no longer the case.

The GT350 doesn’t come with a blue-collar price attached to it.

It starts at $109,999 and that’s a lot of cash for a Mustang.

That’s still nowhere near as expensive as the record-breaking Ford Mustang GTD, which costs over $300,000, or the GTD Spirit of America, which is even more expensive than that.

Still, just look at it…
