A Tesla Cybertruck owner explained, in detail, what it’s like to run the Tesla pickup on a daily basis and what it does to the battery capacity.

He talked about the cost, charging times, and, more importantly, battery capacity.

People talk about charging-related issues all the time, but battery capacity is something that’s not always mentioned.

The result might surprise you.

The state of the battery capacity on his Cybertruck

Cybertruck owner, Kyle Conner, talked about it in detail in an article he shared on X.

He wrote that he hardly ever starts his day with 100 percent battery, this is because he generally only charges it up to 80 per 90 percent.

He also said he got 304 miles of range from his truck at 70 mph before it ran out.

More importantly, after 15,000 miles, he said his battery capacity is only down by around 2 percent.

That’s better than some people get out of their iPhones.

What it is actually like to live with a Tesla Cybertruck

The Cybertruck was unveiled almost exactly a year ago, in November 2023, and after some initial turmoil, production has now been ramped up.

This means that more people are getting their Cybertrucks now, and more owners are now actually using them as daily drivers.

This also means we’re beginning to see a track record of actual Cybertruck use, not just first-impression reviews.

For example, a few weeks ago, a lot of people were left surprised by the actual charging costs of a Cybertruck.

A Tesla Cybertruck owner shared a detailed breakdown of what running his truck cost him when it comes to charging it, and let’s just say it was a little less convenient than people thought.
