This is possibly the most impressive supercar collection in Australia.

It’s a petrolhead’s paradise, comprised of over 100 modern-day hypercars and supercars.

The fleet belongs to Laurence Escalante, the 42-year-old gaming billionaire.

What’s especially shocking about this supercar collection is he only started building it two years ago.

Laurence Escalante is the Perth-based founder and chief executive of Virtual Gaming Worlds.

Thanks to the pandemic, his net worth shot through the roof and today he is worth more than $3.9 billion.

He’s decided to spend his fortune like many other billionaires choose to do: buying exotic supercars.

How Laurence Escalante built his car-filled fortune

The gaming mogul is known for his lavish lifestyle, which he flaunts on Instagram.

Besides his incredible fleet, he also owns a Bombardier private jet, just like Jay-Z.

About two years ago, Escalante decided to start growing his car collection.

This time last year, he had 49, whereas today he has about 120.

He speculates that he will acquire another 70 in the upcoming year too.

It’s not unusual for the ultra-wealthy to have way too many expensive cars in their garage.

Some, like a Florida billionaire with 442 luxury cars, keep them in a private collection, away from prying eyes.

Others like to share, like the Romanian billionaire who keeps his in a museum for all to enjoy (as long as they stay behind the red rope).

Escalante, however, isn’t like other billionaires.

He prefers to get lots of use out of his cars, driving them himself as well as generously lending them to his friends.

The best of Australia’s wildest supercar collection

Escalante’s fleet is known as the Lee Collection, and is worth over $100 million.

He recently acquired an Aston Martin Valkyrie, which Supercar Blondie’s Alex Hirschi was lucky enough to drive too.

There is also a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, which is one of the most expensive supercars one can buy.

He has not one but two McLaren Elvas, one of which is the fully exposed carbon fiber edition.

Escalante also owns a Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4; another one that Alex Hirschi has been spotted driving.

Other notable hypercars include a McLaren P1, a Ferrari FXX K Evo and the formidable Bugatti Bolide.

And, because what would a billionaire be without a yacht, he owns the iconic Lamborghini yacht worth $4 million.

Now to find out how to befriend this guy.
