Good news for anyone who didn’t manage to grab one before they sold out – a new edition of the Jesko could be coming.

Even at $3 million each, all 125 models of this hypercar were sold.

Koenigsegg hasn’t made an official statement about if and when we can expect more.

But, several industry insiders have confirmed that a special edition Jesko is in the works.

Though it hasn’t been put to the test yet, the Jesko is set to be the fastest car in the world.

Koenigsegg believes the Jesko Absolut could potentially reach 310 mph, or even be pushed to 330 mph.

While that sounds impossible to beat, Koenigsegg is apparently already cooking up a special edition of the Jesko.

Details are unknown, but there has been speculation that it will be a more extreme version with modifications that make it more track-focused.

Social media lights up with clues about the special edition Jesko

Mr JWW is known to be closely connected with the Swedish manufacturer and took to his Instagram to post a photo of a Koenigsegg sign.

“Something special incoming,” he said.

Another clue was provided by MUC Collector, who was one of the lucky few to get his own Jesko.

The collector sold his model fairly quickly after delivery, shocking his fans.

Some thought he was flipping it, but he claims he sold it for the exact same price that he paid for it.

“The real reason was that Koenigsegg informed clients about a special edition Jesko that will be much rarer than the existing models on top of the Attack and Absolut which felt weird to me,” he said.

When he bought the car he was under the impression that there would be no further editions of it.

This could decrease the value of his car, so he decided to sell it before the special edition was released.

He went on to say that the Jesko was just as mind-blowing as you’d expect it to be.

Controversially, the new owner, Iranian singer Pooyan Mokhtari, had it wrapped in a somewhat garish shade of gold.

When can we expect the new edition to be unveiled?

Koenigsegg has not made any official announcements yet.

But based on the fact that MUC Collector sold his so quickly, we can assume one will be made soon.

He said he waited until the rumors were confirmed by multiple other sites before making his public announcement so that he wouldn’t be blamed for the leak.

It’s hard to see how Koenigsegg could improve on such a powerful car.

One commenter speculated that the special edition will be based on the NÜR Edition.

This model is finished in Koenigsegg Naked Carbon (KNC) which involves an expensive and time-consuming process of sanding down carbon fiber to reveal a metallic finish.

It also has gold accents, featuring gold brake calipers, badging and interior embroidery.

While we wait for this new model to be announced, we’ll also be waiting for that Jesko speed race.

The Jesko Absolut is set to beat the Bugatti Chiron 300+’s 304 mph record.

Its 5.1-liter twin-turbo V8 engine packs 1,280 horsepower and is the fastest car Koenigsegg has ever made.

In fact, the company is so convinced of its abilities that the CEO vowed to never endeavor to produce a faster car.
