Windowless 'Lo Res Car' is a spaceship-looking vehicle that preceded the Cybertruck

This is the Lo Res Car, a futuristic-looking Cybertruck-esque concept that was first launched years ago.

However, because the internet is what it is, the car is going viral now.

And it’s going viral for reasons that are kind of… misleading.

Over the last few days, social media and internet forums have been awash with posts indicating this as Kanye West’s first car, a Yeezy car, so to speak.

This is inaccurate, but it is also due to, presumably, two factors.

First, this car kind of does look like the sort of thing Kanye West might design and second, there’s a lot of hype surrounding what people think will be the last-ever Yeezy drop by Adidas.

The partnership ended nearly two years ago, but it seems Adidas is still trying to get rid of Yeezy shoes.

But we digress because the key point here is this car has nothing to do with Kanye West.

And there’s something else, too.

The elephant in the room is the design, which clearly looks a bit like a Cybertruck.

We’re sure we can’t be the only ones thinking that.

But the truth is, this isn’t a car inspired by the Cybertruck.

If anything, it’s the other way around.

The first Cybertruck prototype was unveiled in 2019, meanwhile the Lo Res Car was launched in 2016.

A design exercise created by United Nude, which is actually a streetwear and clothing company by the way, the Lo Res is made using 12 polycarbonate panels, and designed to look like it’s a single block of carbon with no doors, roofs or windows.

Now while we can confirm without a doubt that Kanye West had nothing to do with this, we can’t rule out the possibility that he now owns it.

This is because the Lo Res did appear for sale, a while back, which means it’s out there in the market.

And who knows, maybe Kanye did buy it.

After all, the car doesn’t have any windows, just like the brutalist Malibu mansion he now can’t sell.
