The screenplay was written by Robert Moresco – who also directed the film – and it is based on Ferruccio Lamborghini’s biography.
CHECK THIS OUT!
The biography was actually curated by Tonino Lamborghini – Ferruccio’s son.
The storyline adheres to the true story and we get to know more about what actually happened.

The trailer itself offers a few glimpses of Ferruccio’s life before he created Lamborghini.
We learn about his first steps as a tractor manufacturer and how he approached Ferrari for a collaboration.
He was famously rejected and that’s what sparked the rivarly that still exists today.
More to the point, the way Ferrari rejected him gave Ferruccio the drive to create Lamborghini as we know it today.

Obviously, certain elements have been fictionalized and altered for dramatic purposes.
For example, when he unveils the first-ever Lamborghini 350 GTV, Ferruccio addresses the crowd by quoting Frank Sinatra.
He says: “You buy a Ferrari when you want to be somebody. You buy a Lamborghini when you are somebody”.

The movie stars Italian-American actor Frank Grillo as Ferruccio Lamborghini and Gabriel Byrne as Enzo Ferrari.
It is set to be released in the United States on November 18, 2022.

About Ferruccio Lamborghini
The irony is that it all started because Lamborghini bought a Ferrari and didn’t really like it.
Ferruccio Lamborghini thought his Ferrari 250 GT was too loud and rough, and he thought he could make it better.
He spoke to Enzo Ferrari about it and after being abruptly dismissed, he decided to take matter into his own hands.
First, he modified his own 250 GT to make it more comfortable and faster.
And then he founded his own sports car brand.
The rest is history.
