Dad flies plane himself after pilot doesn’t show so everyone can still go on vacation

A man from the UK decided to step up and fix a major issue at a London airport.

Flights were being delayed and passengers were disgruntled, all because a pilot went missing.

Nothing dramatic about that, he just called in sick at the last minute.

Still, this left EasyJet red-faced because they didn’t have a replacement.

It was at that moment that one of the passengers stepped up.

The man in question is just a family guy who was trying to get to Alicante, Spain with his family.

But as luck would have it, he also happens to be a certified pilot who, by pure coincidence, was actually carrying his license with him.

This is the sort of story that might one day end up in a song that goes platinum.
