Since its premiere in 1963, the Porsche 911 has gained a prestigious reputation as the benchmark sportscar.

Elon Musk recently revealed he drove a 911, which he described as ‘incredible’, before starting Tesla.

The distinctive 911 has undergone continuous development since its introduction, and here we have the fastest ever iteration – the 911 Turbo S.

Packed into the tail end of the Turbo S is a potent twin-turbo 3.7-liter flat-six, pumping out a whopping 640 ponies.

It’s one of the fastest cars we’ve ever tested, ripping to 97 km/h (60 mph) in a mere 2.2 seconds.
