According to a recent aviation award show, Singapore Airlines now officially holds the title of the world’s best first-class, hotel-like suites aboard its Airbus A380 airplanes.

The Asian airline faced a tough challenge in other categories, but it has been winning awards for its unbeaten first-class suites for almost a decade now.

Traveling in first class is not just about the comfort but the entire experience instead.

First-class in Singapore Airlines bags an award

The Skytrax Awards are like the Oscars but for aviation — with airlines and their fleet as participants.

While the Doha-based Qatar Airways was named the world’s best airline for 2024, Singapore proudly held the title for its hotel-like first-class suites for another consecutive year.

And let us tell you, it really is like traveling inside a five-star hotel during your flight.

You get premium cabins, complete privacy, priority service, and other guarantees.

A round trip costs a lot — well, around $30,000, to be precise — so you will only have wealthy neighbors.

Step inside the world’s most luxurious airline suite, and you will witness an isolated space all for yourself.

Moreover, it’s all behind closed doors, away from all the usual noise you hear on most flights.

It’s not as private as traveling on a private jet, but it’s the most you’re going to get on a passenger plane.

The A380 is all about luxury

The suite itself shouts ‘premium’ — there is hand-tufted carpet furnishing, leather padded compartments, and, of course, a great in-flight entertainment system.

The reclining chair comes in two options — single bed and double bed.

Further, anything you need is available through the touch of a button.

For instance, you can choose from an unusually large menu full of gourmet meals.

Having luxury meals in the air is a different experience in itself.

Singapore Airlines made sure to utilize the Airbus A380 because it’s one of the most customizable airplanes in the world.

Rest assured, it will be hard to nitpick about anything if you choose to travel in one of these.
