This is the Konstantin Chaykin Clown, a super creepy timepiece inspired by the character ‘IT’ in Stephen King’s novels.

The Stephen King watch is weird and intriguing at the same time.

And it’s definitely not cheap either, coming in with a price tag of $9,900.

Chaykin is an independent watchmaker that has brought a breath of fresh air to the watch world because he combines great engineering skills with a little bit of fun.

Most of his watches are designed as a tribute to comic book and movie characters as well pop culture figures.

The same layout he used for the Clown was also used for the Joker, the Jack O’Lantern and even the Minions’ watch.

So how does the Stephen King watch work?

The watch literally has a face.

The eyes are sub-dials for the hours (left) and the minutes (right).

CHECK THIS OUT!

You tell the time by looking at where the pupil of the eye is pointing.

And the smile is actually a moonphase complication, allowing you to keep track of the sunlit side of the moon as observed from Earth.

The watch is powered by a Swiss movement, customized by Chaykin, with a two-day power reserve.

In other words, if you wear this watch every day you’ll never need to set the time because it will continue running thanks to your wrist movements.

Production is limited to 27 pieces and despite the hefty price tag, the watch is doing really well in the pre-owned market.

Collectors love it, which explains why some people are flipping these timepieces for $20k or even $30k.
