Enzo Ferrari founded Auto Avio Costruzioni in 1939.
It was initially created as Alfa Romeo‘s racing division but Ferrari had a fallout with the then CEO of Alfa Romeo and decided to go solo.
In 1957, the company changed its name to Auto Costruzioni Ferrari.
The rest is history.

Rimac, a Croatian hypercar manufacturer, owns 55 percent of Bugatti.
