From accepting awards while flying WWII planes to jumping from a helicopter after thanking his fans for watching his movies, Tom Cruise is still at the top of his game.

Titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the movie is scheduled for release on July 12, 2023.

The sequel, Dead Reckoning Part Two, will be released in 2024 and it’ll be a send off to Ethan Hunt – the master spy portrayed by Tom Cruise.

This explains the enormous budget, nearly $700 million, and the mind-blowing scene we saw in the trailer.

In the clip, we see Tom Cruise / Ethan Hunt riding a bike at full chat in the forest before jumping off a cliff.

Paramount Pictures shared a YouTube video giving us a behing-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the scene.

As you can imagine, the dramatic scene had people going craz, many even took to Twitter to share their opinions.

“To do this stunt, Tom Cruise trained for a year, did 30 base jumps daily, did over 500 skydives. He did 6 takes on the same day to get the perfect shot,” one user said.

“The lane Tom Cruise has crafted for himself in cinema is so unique simply because no actor will do their own stunts like this,” wrote another.

Cruise said he performed over 13,000 jumps in total for the film.

The scene was filmed in a spectular fjord near Hellesylt in Norway.

The locals call it ‘The Pearl of the Fjords’.

Mission: Impossible fans will be happy to learn that all the main characters from the series are set to return.

Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg will both reprise their roles as Luther Stickell and Benji Dunn respectively, as will Rebecca Ferguson, who appeared in Rogue Nation and Fallout.
