Forget a party bus, this is a party submarine you can hire for you and 120 friends to cruise underwater in pure luxury.

This is the UWEP, which stands for Under Water Entertainment Platform.

It can dive 200m (656ft) underwater and it has giant windows along its entire side so you can watch all the sea life around you.

It’s designed by a Dutch company called U-Boat Worx, and the idea behind it is brilliant.

When The Beatles sang about living in a yellow submarine, my bet is that they envisaged something like this.

Based on the name alone, you can figure out what it’s about.

It’s an underwater party bus for you and up to 120 friends.

The sub has five big round windows along each side, three on the top, plus one at the front as well.

What’s cool about the UWEP is it can be used for different types of events and activities.

CHECK THIS OUT!

The company has shown four different styles of the UWEP submarine in its concept pictures.

The first is a Michelin-starred restaurant, casino and presentation area for something like a new car launch.

The concept pics even have a car inside the submarine.

Another is a wedding venue, just in case you want to get hitched underwater surrounded by manta rays.

That does sound pretty amazing actually.

But if you have the cash to get a party submarine, the sky (or really ocean depths) is the limit.

You can even stay underwater in it for up to 18 hours, too, meaning you could travel a fair distance partying through the night.

However, it does only travel at a speed of 3 knots.

It’s powered by 10 electric motors and a 1200kWh battery.

How much does a party submarine cost?

It’s safe to say the U-Boat Worx UWEP will offer a seriously fun space for anyone who can afford it.

U-Boat Worx already makes submarines so while this is a concept for now, expect to see a real one very soon.

We can’t even begin to think how much this would cost to rent out for an event, let alone how much the submarine would cost to actually buy.

A single-seat submarine from U-Boat Worx costs about US$358,377.

So if you want this party boat – expect to pay a boatload more than that.

The product guide on the website doesn’t list prices for the UWEP – so it’s a case of if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
