This colorful Porsche 911 may be our new favorite sports car

Feast your eyes on the new, super colorful Porsche 911 Carrera GTS.

We love it, especially because this rainbow-style livery was created by Porsche itself.

Yep, this isn’t a one-off from a racing team or a tuning company, it’s part of the Porsche 911 line-up and customers can go out there and buy it.

Dubbed ‘911 Carrera GTS 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition’, it was created by Porsche to celebrate the brand’s 30th anniversary in Thailand.

The colorful paint with seven different hues, one for each day of the week, is in fact a tribute to one of Thailand’s oldest traditions.

In the past, people would dress to the color of the day.

Monday yellow, Tuesday pink, Wednesday green, Thursday orange, Friday blue, Saturday purple and Sunday red.

The halo car features all seven colors in that order but each model will be built on commission, so no two cars will look the same.

Porsche Thailand expects most customers to opt for just one of seven colors, and in most cases they’ll probably go for the color of their birthday.

The 20-inch (front) and 21-inch Turbo S black wheels with orange accents complete the look.

Inside, you’ll find black corduroy and leather upholstery with pebble gray seat pipings and stitching, and inserts in the same color as the exterior.

A unique, bespoke logo is embroidered into the headrests and displayed on the door sill, dashboard and center console as well.

More details about pricing and availability will be revealed on April 2 after the full reveal at the Bangkok International Motor Show.

Mind you, the Carrera GTS starts at around $150,000, and we can expect a significant markup on this model.

If we had to make an educated guess, we’d say this will be priced at around $200,000 – $220,000.
