Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has taken to Instagram to show off his new Lamborghini yacht, which he dubs the “supercar of the sea.”

Having waited to take delivery of the yacht for nearly a year now, the Irish fighter couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 which he had fitted with nearly $500,000 of bespoke options.

Built in Italy by Tecnomar, the Lambo yacht starts at an already pricey $3.5 million – not that that’s much to McGregor, who recently sold his Proper Twelve whiskey company for $600 million.

Speaking of, Proper Twelve branding features on the boat’s trim, while McGregor’s boat is build number 12 to match his company’s name.

Just 63 examples of the yacht are set to be built, which measures in at 63 feet and is able to reach a top speed of 69mph (60 knots).

There’s no wonder a yacht of this size is capable of such speed as it has 4000hp courtesy of a pair of proper 12s – two 24.2-liter V12 diesel engines.

Stylings of the Conor McGregor yacht

Boasting a futuristic styling, the Lambo design language is clear in its Y-shaped running lights.

Conor McGregor’s yacht also features a dashboard inspired by the Lamborghini Sian (also limited to 63 units) complete with a Lambo steering wheel.

Seeing McGregor thrash this around the waters of Monaco on a recent family trip should serve as a reminder to all people in a position to have toys like this – get out and use them as intended!

How does Conor McGregor afford a Lamborghini boat?

The former UFC champ is not shy of a few bucks.

Forbes says he was the 35th highest-paid athlete for 2022 with an income of $43 million.

It’s actually a big drop year-on-year because in 2021, McGregor was number one on that list after raking in $180 million.

That was mainly from his sale of whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve.

So that’s how Conor McGregor can buy a Lamborghini yacht.
